Our aim is to provide the home from home that your child will thrive in.
We understand that it can be difficult leaving your child with someone new. That’s why we’ve invested in great facilities and ensure that we have the best staff on site. We always encourage prospective parents to come and have a look around and talk to us.

We’ve put a lot of work into creating the perfect environment for the children who use our nursery. With great emphasis on messy play, and natural resources, they’ve got all they need to play and have fun.

Our facilities are designed to ensure that your child remains safe and is monitored at all times. No wandering off into hidden corners or being left to their own devices. We take safety and security very seriously indeed. Access to the nursery, of course, is through security doors and these are always monitored while children are on the premises.

We have a kitchen area where we prepare homemade, healthy and nutritional food for the children. At Armadillos Nursery we certainly believe that eating well is a big part of learning.​
​On site we have an excellent array of toys and educational material designed to fully engage children from babies up to preschool age.
Our staff help to provide an environment that is both fun to be in and meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
​
We can provide care for babies, toddlers and pre-school children and our staff are all fully trained and vetted. Children come from the surrounding catchment area or have parents who live or work nearby or travel through Hemel or Redbourn. We are conveniently located near the M1 and A414.
